Truck carrying yogurt crashes on Hwy. 401

A transport truck carrying yogurt products crashed on Hwy. 401 near Kingston Rd. in Scarborough Friday morning.

Shortly before 4 a.m. on Friday, a truck was involved in a collision on Hwy. 401 between Meadowvale and Kingston Rds. in the east end of the city. The crash sent debris scattered across multiple lanes.

Two westbound collector lanes and two westbound express lanes remain closed as of 5:45 a.m. Some drivers in lanes that are open have been seen swerving around rogue yogurt cups. It is unclear when they will be reopened.

The Ontario Provincial Police are at the scene.
