Mississauga man arrested after young girl says she was sexually assaulted in her home

A Mississauga man has been charged after a young girl reported she was sexually assaulted in her home.

Peel police were called to a residence in the area of Hartfield Grove and Warren Dr. around 7 a.m. Saturday. A young girl said she woke up to find a man in her bedroom.

The man allegedly sexually assaulted the girl and then fled, police said.

On Sunday, police arrested Marcin Gozdzik, 35. He has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and break and enter.
