3 pedestrians struck by vehicles in city’s north end within 2 hours of each other
Three pedestrians were sent to hospital with serious injuries within two hours of each other after being struck by vehicles in the city’s north end, Toronto paramedics say.
A woman in her 20s, a child, and a man in his 50s have all been transported to hospital with serious injuries following two separate incidents on Tuesday evening.
Paramedics say the pedestrians’ injuries are serious, but non-life-threatening.
The first incident happened near the northbound Highway 404 on-ramp at Finch Avenue East, when woman and a child were struck by a car around 8 p.m.
The man was struck less than two hours later near Black Creek and Trethewey drives.
The westbound lane of Finch Avenue East was closed, but has since reopened.
