Blue fentanyl found in Niagara Falls home, police say
Police found blue-tinted fentanyl and arrested two people for drug trafficking in a Niagara Falls home, police say.
Niagara Regional Police say they investigated potential fentanyl trafficking at a home on Hamilton Street, where they saw suspected activity.
After getting a search warrant, police entered the home around 5:20 p.m. on Monday and arrested two people.
After a search, police say they found blue-tinted fentanyl, an unsafely-stored shotgun and ammunition.
Police arrested a 38-year-old and a 56-year-old, who now face several charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Their bail hearing is set for Tuesday.
