Torontonians should anticipate snowy conditions for the rest of the week
Heavy snowfalls, thaws, freezing rain . . . recent weather conditions in the city are leaving Torontonians confused. Don’t put your parkas away just yet!
According to Environment Canada, temperatures will remain below zero for the next couple of days, and into the weekend, and you’ll probably need to keep your shovel handy if you have a driveway or a sidewalk.
Snowy conditions on Thursday will come with a high of 1C and a low of -15C. Winds coming from the southwest will blow at 20 km/h, and gust up to 40 km/h in the afternoon.
Peaks of sunshine on Friday may fool you throughout the day; the high will sit around -8 and the low about -11C.
Heavy snow will make a triumphant return on Saturday and Sunday, with highs of -7C and -6C, respectively.
No thaw in sight for the next little while . . . .
